What's-ah Goin On

Hey there, it's me. . . the stranger who used to blog here.  :)

We're coming up on Micah's ten month birthday so I'll update you about some of his latest activities then but I thought I'd give you a little update about some of what we've been up too!

I recently went to Pinot's Palette with my friend Bekah and we had such a good time painting.  The class was really fun and I think out paintings turned out so great.  Don't you think?!

We got Micah dressed up in his new polo shirt for a family dinner.  We sure looked cute but dinner was a little late for his taste so he got a little fussy.  But we still love him!

We had a crawfish boil at my parents house Easter weekend to celebrate my sisters 19th birthday and Easter.  We had such a good time.  Micah didn't try the crawfish but his mommy and daddy sure had their fill.  (YUM YUM).  Micah didn't even seem to care when his grandpa showed him a live crawfish.  Maybe he'll be interested next year.  :)

I've recently caught up on posting my 365 pictures.  90% of them are of Micah because I'm with him 99% of the time.  :)  But that's ok. If you want to scroll through, then go check out my page.

365 Update

Hey Friends,

I've been keeping up with taking my 365 pictures and usually end up loading them in batches (sorry).  So, as of right this second (the second of me writing this, not the second that you're reading this because I don't know when you're reading this) I am all up to date on my 365 pictures.

You can scroll back through January and then view February's pics on my profile.  I know there are a lot of pictures of Micah, but really. . . I spent pretty much every second with him so it's only natural that he ends up in a lot of my pictures.  Plus Curtis usually doesn't want to be in my pictures.  He sometimes picks on me about taking my 365 picture every day.  But when he does that I threaten to put him IN the picture and then he lets me be.  :)

Where Is She?!

Why OH Why haven't I been blogging?!  This is something I ask myself regularly; as do some of you.  I hate that I've been so MIA on my blog.  I love updating my blog.  I don't know what the deal is, but just to give you an update on what's been going on. . . . here are the cliff notes:

And that is where I'm at today.  I want to update you with lots of pics and fun stuff but it's late and tomorrow I have a play date in the morning, my mom is coming over and my hubby and I have a dinner date thingy at church. . . then Saturday is family time with my parents.  Maybe Sunday I can post lots of stuff.  I'll try to make that my priority.

Well, I hope you still love me even though I haven't been blogging. . . or updating my 365 pictures (I HAVE been taking my 365 pictures).   In the mean time, I'll leave you with a pic of my cutie pie! (Well, both of them!)

365 Project - Week 1

So, I've been pretty good at keeping up with my 365 project so far.  If you don't know what I mean, check out my original post.  I've successfully taken and posted a picture for 8 days now! Woohoo!  That being said, I know that, realistically, I most likely will not be able to post the pics every single day but I fully intend to at least take the pic every single day.  Ya'll keep me accountable.  If you haven't seen any new pics on my gallery. . . then call me out (nicely though, I'm fragile). 

So, here is a recap of the first 8 days of 2012.  We took down our Christmas decorations, fed Micah green beans, babysat our cousin's baby, built a fire, played with Micah, got my nails done, took 6 month photos with Micah, and had lunch with my parents (among other things that didn't get documented).

It's A New Year

Happy 2012.  I'm still alive if you're wondering why I haven't posted in awhile; but I've had a lot going on.  Anyway, like every year, I've made a few goals for 2012.  One of them is to start the 365 project.  You take a picture every day and post it in a gallery.  I think it's a cool idea to document your life for a year and also to make yourself a better photographer - which is one of my goals.  I'm also taking a photography class in February, which I'm very excited about.

So. . . 3 days into the new year I'm, in fact, keeping up with my 365 project.  This pic is called "Green beans are super gross".
