Sail Away With Me

Have I mentioned yet that July was crazy busy?!  Well it was. Among a million other things, we managed to sail away on a short cruise.  I don't have many pictures of this but we did have a great time.

We relaxed, laid out, ate good food, saw some shows, met some peeps, all was good.  We had nice weather and a nice room with a view.

Blast From The Past

So. . . I've been sorting through some old files on my computer and I came across a file of pictures that reminded me of several things I've never told you about, so I thought I'd update you. 

We went on a Carnival Cruise in 2009 to celebrate our 3 year anniversary.  It was a great vacation!  I can't wait to go on another cruise!  We had an awesome time and best of all - no cell phone connection for 7 glorious days.  We went swimming with the stingrays, snorkeling in a cave, and zip lining and kayaking in Jamaica. 

We went to Galveston with Curtis' dad, step-mom and other family members - just to hang out.

I had a great birthday dinner with my friends and family - this was August of 2010.

I went wedding dress shopping with my gorgeous sister (well, one of my gorgeous sisters)!

Celebrated my hubby's birthday - Dallas Cowboys style!

We went to Corpus Christi in November of 2010 for a short anniversary celebration.  We had just found out we're going to be parents!  We ate at a two story Whataburger - for reals!  (that was not the highlight of the trip - just so you know - but I thought the Whataburger was cool. Haha)



I have more pics but I think I've filled you in on those events.  I'll try not to wait so long to post pics next time.  :)

Post Vacation Blues

Oh man do I have the post vacation blues.  This week is tough!  We just got back from a great vacation.  We went on a 7 day cruise and had a blast!  We had such a great time that we weren't ready to come back at all and I'm SO not into work this week.  Not to mention, we left for vacation the morning after the time change, so I hadn't even noticed that it was getting dark SO MUCH earlier now.  Leaving work after the sun sets is depressing me.  It's giving me the "back from vacation blues".  I have no idea what this video is from but you can find some interesting things on YouTube.  I thought this was appropriate for how we felt before we left and how we feel now!  Actually this song is a little dramatic!  It's not THAT bad.



Sorry for the gloomy post, I'm just being grumpy and selfish!  I promise my next post will be all cheery again!  I'm looking forward to the Women's Night of Praise at my church on Thursday and the Nutcracker Market on Saturday with my friends!
