Two Weeks Old

Well. . . here I am, two weeks into motherhood.  I must say that it's been great.  I'm pretty tired but my perfect little boy makes it all worth it.  Here are a few updates.

• Micah went to the Dr. last week and has gained 4 oz. since birth and is doing great!  We go back to the Dr. this Friday for another check up.

• Micah sleeps like his daddy. . . like a rock and with his arms above his head.  It's adorable.  You can do anything to Micah when he's sleeping and he won't even notice.  I hope it stays that way.
  
  
• Micah has his daddy's toes.
  
  
• Micah has my nose.
  
  
• My wrists are hurting - I think it's called New Mom Syndrome or something.
  
  
• Micah will not burb after I feed him.  We pat, we rub, we change his position and nothing.  Course he'll spit up on you an hour later, but ya know, it's all good.
  
  
• Everyday we send Daddy a picture of Micah - 99% of them are of Micah sleeping. . . it's adorable.

Beautiful Bride

This post is long overdue.  Back in February my younger sister got married!  It was such a great day and she was the most beautiful bride.  We had such a great time visiting with friends and family.  I was in town to visit/help with the wedding from Wednesday - Sunday, which was tiring but really fun.  I'm so glad I was only half way through my pregnancy or it would have been much harder for me to participate.

I recently sat down to finally look through her pictures and there are so many great memories.

The kiss - She's much shorter than he is, so she moved him over to the step so she could reach him. 
It was a great moment in the ceremony.

Lanes sister lives in Paris, so they skyped the wedding ceremony so they could be see it.  This was such a sweet thing and the picture is awesome.  I love how the family is posing
on the computer screen.  :)

Love this pic.  This is my mom and dad dancing as well as my great uncle and aunt.  Uncle Will is such a ham.  They were dancing the couple dance and Uncle Will and Aunt Edna Mae ended up being the couple there who had been married the longest - So sweet!

Off to Grand Caymen.  They had opted for biodegradable snow
and it was a lot of fun!  Makes for a cool pic too!

He's Finally Here!

Micah Curtis was born on June 29th at 10:21pm. 
He weighed 7lbs. 4oz. 

He's absolutely perfect and we are so in love!



I can't stop staring at him!  We will post more pictures soon!
